Legend:

The young men are inside the Kraal, placed in order of seniority, section to section (Kgoro ka Kgoro). Women are standing outside (at left of picture), carrying wooden bowls (Megopo), smeared with white lime, and small clay pots (Thiswana) for food. The Elders are on the other side, fetching the food from their sisters to bring it into the Kraal.
