Ezrom LEGAE terracotta of "Head of a wise man" (img. Strauss &Co., Johannesburg 2015)

Original terracotta from which the casts were made, per 2015 in the Legae family collection (img. )

All were cast by Renzo Vignali, Pretoria - Egon Guenther maintained a Master Registry of Ezrom Legae's SA casts, however incomplete. There are inconsistencies listed by different galleries as to edition sizes well as in the names of the work, e.g. "Head", "Head, no name" and "Head of a Wiseman" or "Head of a Wise Man"!
